Coach Hudson led the Lee volleyball program with excellence for 30 seasons from 1991-2021. She posted an outstanding 843-343 record and took her teams to three straight NAIA Final Fours (2009-11). Her clubs posted a remarkable 78 match home-winning streak.
In 2015 she won the prestigious NCAA DII Award of Excellence for the work with Volley For A Cure. In 13 years, the Volley For A Cure event raised over $300,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research.
Coach Hudson's teams captured 20 conference championships, six NAIA Regional crowns, and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament 11 times overall including five straight trips from 2008-12. Under her leadership, the team had 29 players named NAIA All-Americans.
She continued her success as Lee transitioned to the NCAA DII, leading the 2017 team to the program's first GSC Tournament victory over West Alabama. In 2018, the Lady Flames posted a 13-3 mark in the GSC as Silvia Sartori was named an All-American and the GSC Player of the Year while Makayla Beebe earned GSC Libero of the Year honors.
