Dale Goff was a former Lee College Viking basketball player but more than that he was a man who loved young people and athletics. Dale went far beyond the call of duty to support and help direct the lives of the university’s student athletes.
Dale was the Vice President of Operations, a valuable member of Lee Cabinet and a man who worked day and night to help put his beloved college on the map and make Lee one of the nation’s best private universities.
He was a driving force behind the Stanley Butler Golf Tournament and took great pride in having a successful athletic department within his sector. No matter if it were at Walker Arena, Tennessee Temple or San Diego, it would come as no surprise to look up and see Dale Goff sitting in the stands wearing a big smile and cheering for the Flames.
He was very involved in the various construction projects on campus and oversaw the construction of several beautiful athletic complexes. Before accepting the Vice President of Operations duties in 2001, he served as Vice President of Institutional Advancement.
