Summer Lanter (2013-17) led the Lady Flames soccer team to the NCAA National Tournament in 2015, 2016, 2017 and the Sweet 16 in 2017. During those three seasons the teams recorded a 72-20-11 record. She tallied 56 goals during her outstanding four-year career (7th all-time). Lanter led Gulf South Conference (GSC) in goals scored with 20 in 2017.
An outstanding player on and off the pitch, Summer was named 3-Time All-GSC First Team, 2-Time GSC Player of the Year, GSC All-Decade Second Team, 2017 All-American Second Team, 2-Time All-South Region, 2017 South Region Player of the Year, 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-American, 3-Time GSC All-Academic Team, 4-Time GSC Honor Roll selection.
