BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Freshman forward Lauren Peters has been named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week the conference office announced today.

Peters, a native of Casstown, Ohio, scored two goals on the week as the Lady Flames defeated Delta State, 5-0 on Friday before falling 2-1 to Mississippi College on Sunday. Peters registered a goal in each match.

Peters has now tallied four goals on the season for Lee which stands at 8-4-2 overall and 7-2 in conference play. The Lady Flames will host Christian Brothers on Friday (5 p.m.) and Union on Sunday (2 p.m.).
