Lee men's basketball forward Chase Cullen has been named the Lee University Male Athlete of the Week.

Cullen bounced back after spending much of the season sidelined with an injury to put up 15 points and nine rebounds in last Monday's loss at West Alabama.

The native of Bayport, N.Y. followed that up with a season-high 23 points in a 72-68 nailbiting loss to Gulf South Conference front-runner Delta State on Saturday afternoon in Walker Arena.

Cullen is averaging 12.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the field.

Cullen and the Flames will be back on the hardwood on Saturday evening as they host rival Shorter University at 7 p.m.
