Women's basketball forward Shelby Brown has been named Lee University's Female Athlete of the Week.

Brown scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the Lady Flames' 91-68 victory over Mississippi College on Monday evening.

The Goodletsville, Tenn. native came right back on Saturday and registered a double-double with 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting from the field to go along with 10 rebounds as Lee moved back into tie for first place in the Gulf South Conference with a 64-48 win over Shorter on Saturday night.

Brown and the Lady Flames will host No. 18 Union University in another battle for first in the GSC on Thursday at 6 p.m.
