Courtney Shelton has been named Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Women's Golfer of the Week for her outstanding play in last week's Rome News-Tribune Invitational in Rome, Ga.

The junior All-American guided the Lady Flames to their second consecutive team title in the event. Shelton also took home the individual medalist honor with a 3-over-par 147 total in the 36-hole tournament.

Shelton and the Lady Flames will tee it up next in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Seiverville, Tenn. The 36-hole tournament is Mar. 18 and 19.
