Lee track star Christian Noble has been named the GSC Track and Field Freshman of the Week after a strong showing at the Raleigh Relays this weekend.

Noble not only met the provisional mark in the steeplechase, but won the event by over three seconds with a time of 9:02.34. The Greenfield Ind. native's time is currently the fastest posted in Division II so far this season.

"Christian's race in the 3K is truly special. He beat some of the best DI athletes in the country," said head coach Caleb Morgan.

Up next for the Noble and the Flames is the Berry College Field Day Invitational April 7-8.
