For the second time this season, the Lady Flames swept the weekly Gulf South Conference honors. Celine Ritter was named GSC Runner of the Week and Hannah Spooneybarger earned GSC Freshman of the Week.

Ritter dominated the field at the DII Showcase. Her time of 17:37.0 over the 5K distance was a personal best by 22 seconds and earned her the overall win by four seconds.

The Lady Flames travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the Royals Cross Country Challenge on October 11. The race is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
