"We got the job done," commented Lee head coach Chris Hennessey after Sunday's win. "The girls were very tired after Friday's emotional and very physical win over West Florida. Summer (Lanter) and Kinsey (Cichowitz) played great. The entire team is getting better at playing together as a team. Spring Hill made us work for the win. They were organized and were fired up after getting a positive result on Friday."Â
The coach added that his girls are extremely happy with the two road wins and will take Monday off before starting to prepare for an unbeaten West Alabama team on Friday. The match at the Lee Soccer Field is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
