Montgomery, Ala. - The Lee men's soccer team scored three second half goals to finish off a 4-0 thumping of Auburn Montgomery on Friday night.

"I thought the boys played really well tonight. We had a very significant week of training on a number of levels and there was a sense that we were going to be very sharp tonight," noted head coach Derek Potteiger. "We were not perfect but we controlled the game in the ways we knew we could and so I was proud of the guys' execution tonight."

The win propels Lee to 5-4-3 on the year and 4-3-1 in the Gulf South Conference. The winless Warhawks fall to 0-6 in league play.

The Flames will wrap up the trip on Sunday afternoon as they head to Montevallo to test the Falcons. Opening kick is set for 4:30 p.m.

"We will enjoy this for a very short time as we have a big game sitting right in front of us on Sunday. We will need to recover physically and be very sharp mentally heading into the game against Montevallo," concluded Potteiger.
