The Lady Flames open their season with two home games against teams from Ohio. Coach Chris Hennessey's squad was picked to finish first in the Gulf South Conference Preseason Poll. Defender Katie Dirkse and midfielder Mallory Hayden were both named to the Preseason All-GSC team. The Lady Flames will open the season on Thursday against Ohio Dominican University who finished the season 7-8-3 last year and lost in the quarterfinals of the G-MAC tournament. Then on Saturday, Lee will host Cedarville University The Yellow Jackets went 12-6-2 last season and lost in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament to eventual national champion Grand Valley State.

The Flames open the season on the road on Thursday night before returning home on Sunday afternoon. Coach Derek Potteiger's squad was picked to finish third in the preseason GSC poll. The Flames had three men make the Preseason All-GSC Squad, which was tied for the most in the league. Defender Jeremy Bischoff and midfielders Fabian Navarro and Eemeli Makela were chosen by the GSC coaches to represent the Flames. The Flames will travel to Dahlonega, Ga. to open the season on Thursday and take the University of North Georgia. The Nighthawks finished last season 6-11-1. The Flames will then host Emmanuel College on Sunday afternoon. The Lions went. 3-10 last season.

The Lady Flames volleyball team heads to the Queens University Invitational for four games in Charlotte, NC. Second year head coach Callie Tabisz will look to improve on last season. Her team was picked to finish tenth in the Gulf South Conference. The first team Lee will face in North Greenville who went 21-9 last season and lost in the Conference of the Carolinas Conference championship match. The second team they will face will be Wingate University who went 24-5 and lost in the second round it the NCAA tournament. The third team faced is West Virginia Wesleyan who went 4-22 last season. The final team the Lady Flames will face is the University of Tampa who went 34-2 last year and are the defending national champions.
