Coach Chris Hennessey's thoughts:
"I was really pleased with the effort this afternoon. It was a total body of work and our entire team saw action. We got the win here and now we must move on for a tough test on Sunday. The main thing is to move onto Clinton and get some rest on Saturday.
"It is always a tough game with Mississippi College. They have beaten us a couple of times down here. We have to be really focused but I think our girls will be ready and I'm sure you can say the same about them."
