Lee Ranked 27th in the Learfield Directors Cup After the Fall Semester

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Lee University athletic department is ranked 27th in the nation after the 2025 fall semester. Of the over 290 member institutions in NCAA II, 155 schools were listed in the 2025-26 Learfield Directors' Cup Division II standings, following the conclusion of the fall season. Lee came in with 152.5 points thanks to men's cross country, women's cross country, and women's soccer earning points. The Flames were one of six Gulf South Conference schools that earned points. 

Men's cross country led the way for Lee with a tenth place finish at the national championships and earned 67.5 points. Women's cross country had a 15th place finish at the national championships and earned 60 points. Women's soccer had a 33rd place finish and earned 25 points.

The University of West Florida led the conference as it placed sixth as it collected a total of 203 points. The University of Alabama in Huntsville is at No. 50 with 106 pts. Mississippi College came in at No. 53, the Unviersity of Montevallo is tied for 106th, and Valdosta State University is tied for 124th.

University of Colorado Colorado Springs (289.50 total points) led the way for DII. The University of Wingate is in second place with 283.00 points, Colorado School of Mines is in third with 275.00 points, Anderson University (SC) is in fourth place with 237.50 points and Grand Valley State University rounds out the top five with 205.00 points.

The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
