The 12th-ranked Lee University men's cross country team began its 2025 season with a seventh place finish at the Southern Showcase.
In a race filled with NCAA DI competition, the Flames collected 200 points to be the top finishing non-DI team. Alabama was the overall team winner with 32 points. Kentucky claimed second with 131 points and Lipscomb was third (138)..
The Flames' first finisher was Pierre Chauveau. He completed the race in 25th overall with a time of 24:14.03. Luke Gaddis placed 32nd (24:25.58), Tucker Wright finished 34th (24:27.01) and Edimo Ninteretse (24:30.86) was 36th overall. Chris Ross was Lee's final scorer at No. 85. He posted a time of 25:02.73.

Louisville was the overall team winner with 64 points. Mississippi State was second (90) and Kentucky claimed third (170).
The Lady Flames' first finisher was Maria Mitchell at 24th. The transfer from Grand Valley State stopped the clock at 17:16.68. Freshman Capucine Cureau was 78th overall at 17:56.64 with Estella Clemons right behind at No. 80 (17:58.09).
