CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Lee University Athletics has announced the appointment of Nicole Moorshead as its new Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. Moorshead joins the athletic department after seven years of being the Director of Marketing for H&S Restaurants Inc. dba Hardee's In her role with Lee athletics, Moorshead will oversee community engagement, marketing, and revenue generation.
Vice President for Athletics and Student Life John Maupin is excited for Moorshead to join Lee. "We are thrilled to add Nicole to our team. She has an extensive background in marketing, and she is going to play a major role in continuing to build the strong brand of Lee Athletics. Nicole brings a passion for the Cleveland community with her, and I'm excited about the possibilities of deepening our impact in that area. On top of it all, Nicole is a great fit for Lee University and believes in our broader mission. This is a major addition to our team and we're happy to welcome the entire Moorshead family to Lee University."
Moorshead came to Lee from J&S Restaurants, Inc., a Hardee's franchise company based in Cleveland. She spent nine years with the company, including the past seven years as the Director of Marketing, leading marketing initiatives and community-focused efforts across the company's restaurants.
Her role while at J&S Restaurants, Inc. was to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth across 35 locations. She also led brand strategy and execution across messaging, digital marketing, content development, product launches, paid media, and point-of-sale programming. She analyzed campaign performance and marketing reports to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities, and inform future strategy.

Moorshead serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ocoee Region Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also a member of Westmore Church of God and is a youth ministry leader at the church. Moorshead lives in Cleveland with her husband Chad and their daughters Bella, Gina and Sophia.
