Coach Geandra Almeida's Thoughts:
"Obviously it wasn't what we envisioned for the first event of the spring. We faced a lot of challenges, and this tournament definitely exposed some of our weaknesses and areas we need to keep working on if we want to be the strongest version of ourselves by postseason. But there's no reason to panic — it's really about getting back to work, making an honest assessment of what went wrong, and using it as fuel to improve.
My message to the girls has been very clear: as long as we learn from this experience, it's going to make us a better team. I'm actually excited to keep working with this group because they're willing to learn and grow every chance they get. We'll take what we need from this and keep moving forward."
