This past week the Flames went 3-1 they lost to Young Harris in the midweek and then swept CBU. This week they go to Tusculum and then Montevallo

The Lady Flames swept CBU this weekend. They go to Montevallo this weekend. 

This week lacrosse lost to Lewis and Lander. The loss to Lander was the first GSC game of the year. They have two more GSC games this week at UAH and at Virginia State.

Both tennis teams lost to West Florida and then beat Spring Hill. This week they play Lincoln Memorial and Mississippi College.

The Lady Flames came in 7th at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational. The Flames came in 6th at the Bobcat Invitational.

The Lee University track & field team opened its outdoor season at the Lee University Invitational this weekend at the Ray Conn Sports Complex. The Lady Flames collected four new NCAA Division II Provisional marks with Maria Mitchell claiming two and the other two coming in the pole vault.

Provisional Qualifying Performances:
Maria Mitchell won the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:25.35 to beat the provisional time of 4:28.93. The time is No. 2 on the NCAA Division II performance list.
Maria Mitchell crossed the finish line of the 800-meter run in first place at 2:10.65. She finished ahead of the qualifying time of 2:11.25. That time is the fourth-fastest time reported so far this season.
Brynn Depinet cleared 3.95 meters to win the pole vault. The height to reach for the provisional qualifier is 3.79 meters. Her mark is third among DII athletes so far this season.
Addison Kohlmeier finished second with a clearance of 3.85 meters in the pole vault to surpass the provisional mark (3.79m). Her measurement is tied for seventh with two others among DII athletes.

The Flames collected two new NCAA Division II Provisional marks.

Provisional Qualifying Performances:
Stephen Clark crossed the finish line of the 3000-meter steeplechase in first place at 8:57.45. He finished ahead of the qualifying time of 9:10.72. That time is the top time reported so far this season.
Gage Whited won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.40 seconds. The provisional time was 10.43 seconds. His time is the eighth-fastest among DII athletes this early in the season.
