FINAL RESULTS | DAY 1 RECAP | DAY 2 RECAP

EMPORIA, Kan. – Aria Hawkins added another national championship to the Lee University tally on the final day of the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The individual championship is the 13^th claimed by the Lady Flames and Flames.

The Lee squads added four more top eight finishes with Hawkins adding a fourth-place finish, Maria Mitchell placing fifth, Pierre Chauveau grabbing seventh and Maddox Mayfield claiming an eighth-place performance.

The Championships were held at the Zola Whitten Track in Francis G. Welch Stadium on the campus of Emporia State University.
 
Team Standings:

• The Lady Flames collected 20 points to tie for 13^th after earning 10 points in the 1500-meter run, nine in the 5000-meter run and one in the 400-meter dash.
• The Flames accumulated 12 points to finish 20^th. They recorded 10 points in the 3000-meter steeplechase and two points in the1500-meter run.

 
Event Finals:

• Chauveau placed seventh in the men's 1500-meter run with a time of 3:50.45. The winning time was 3:49.25 by Caleb McLeod of CSU-Pueblo.
• Hawkins moved from third place with 400 meters remaining to claim the women's 1500-meter Championship. She crossed the finish line at 4:19.30, just 0.81 seconds ahead of second place Helen Braybrook of CSU-Pueblo.
• Mayfield finished eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.05 seconds.
• Hawkins and Mitchell finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 5000-meter run to add nine points to the team total. Hawkins crossed the finish line at 16:32.74 with Mitchell close behind at 16:32.84.
