The Flames defeated UWA 1-0 for their first GSC win. Then they lost to Montevallo on the road 1-0. This week they go to Trevecca before returning home to take on Mississippi Christian on Saturday.

The women's soccer team beat UWA 6-0 at home for the 500th program win. They also beat Montevallo in a top 20 showdown. This week they go to Trevecca before returning home to host Mississippi Christian.

Volleyball went 3-0 this past week. They beat Lincoln Memorial at home and then went to Valdosta State and AUM and earned wins. This week they host Montevallo, CBU and Union.

The women's golf team last week finished fourth in the City with Spirit Classic. Justine Emond was the GSC golfer of the week. This week they are at the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational. The men's golf team gets the season underway at the Lake Lanier Intercollegiate.

The Lee University men's cross country team opened its 2026 season with an 11th place finish out of 29 teams in the Southern Showcase Invite The Flames were second among non-DI teams in the 8K race.

Lee accumulated 299 points to finish 11th, although the Flames' projected top five runners did not participate in the competition. GSC foes AUM (440) and Mississippi Christian (455) finished 13th and 15th, respectively.

Kylian Boulanger was the first Lee runner across the finish line at 24:54.34 to place 39th overall. Sam Nesbitt stopped the clock at 25:06.13 for 48th place.

Jayden Allred posted a time of 25:12.99 for 60th and Parker Campbell (25:17.94) was 67th. Lee's final scorer was Conner Campbell at 119th (25:51.42).

The Lee University women's cross country team opened its 2026 season with a ninth place finish out of 31 teams in the Southern Showcase Invite. The Flames were the only non-DI team in the top 20 of the 5K race.

Lee accumulated 266 points to finish ninth. GSC foes Mississippi Christian, Union and Christian Brothers joined the Flames in the race. The Choctaws placed 21st (619) with Union in 24th (713) and CBU's 726 points putting them in 26th.

Alabama's Caren Kiplagat was the individual winner with a time of 15:41.36. Ava Sparks was the first Lee runner across the finish line at 17:29.92 to place 28th overall. Capucine Cureau stopped the clock at 17:45.99 for 46th.

Sadie Wielfaert, Sofia Fregona and Michela Papalia rounded out the Lee scorers. Wielfaert placed 57th with a time of 17:58.37. Fregona (18:04.55) was 65th and Papalia finished 77th (18:12.88).
