After a highly successful career as a member of the Lee men's golf team, Hunter Vest will return for his fifth season as an assistant for coach John Maupin and the Lee golf program.

After an outstanding high school career at Walker Valley, Vest was a four-year member of the Lee golf team. He was an NAIA and NCCAA All-American and the winner of several medalist honors in tournament play. He served as a student assistant during the 2014-15 season.

Coach Maupin said: “Hunter has been a part of our program for a long time now, and knows what our expectations are.  He’s an accomplished collegiate/amateur player and our players always enjoy being around him and learning from his experience.  He’s another asset to our players because of his time here, and his understanding of our program.  We always want to surround our players with people who will care about them and can help them navigate the path of college golf, and Hunter fits that mold.”
