Erin begins her second season as the throws coach at Lee University. She entertained coaching stints at McKendree (2012-13), Wisconsin (2013-14), Rider (2014-15) and Appalachian State (2016-2019) before joining the Lee track and field staff under the supervision of head coach Caleb Morgan.

The St. Jacob, Illinois native competed collegiately at Virginia University and graduated from UVA in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in sociology. While there, Wykoff participated in the throwing events on the women's track team, specializing in the discus, hammer throw and weight throw. She was a three-time NCAA East Regional qualifier. In the 2012 outdoor season, she was the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) discus champion. In 2011, Wykoff earned second-team All-American honors after finishing 12th in the discus at the outdoor NCAA championships.
