Coach Almeida begins her fourth year of leading the Lady Flames. In the 2021-22 season the former Lee All-American served as an assistant under Coach John Maupin who also was Lee’s Director of Golf. She was promoted to Head Women’s Golf Coach at the beginning of the 2022-23 season.
 
Geandra is also a full-time mother. She and her husband Steve have two children, Nikki 11, and Benji 8.
 
The 2026 spring season saw the Lady Flames battle the wind, dust, and place third in the NCAA DII South Regional Tournament. Led by the final round play of Hannah Nall Lee finished seventh in the NCAA DII South Regional Tournament and missed national tournament by one stroke.

A fantastic regular season was capped off with the Gulf South Conference championship title, and the golf team swept all three major postseason awards. Senior Hannah Nall was named the GSC Golfer of the Year, Justine Emond was named the GSC Freshman of the Year, and Almeida was named the GSC Coach of the Year.

In addition, Nall, Emond, Emilia Nordström, and Olivia Ireland were named First Team All-GSC.

Five members of the women's golf team were named to the 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. Nordström, Ireland, Emond, Lehane Louis-Dumond, and Gabriella Diaz were the five selected.

Ireland, Nordström, and Lehane Louis-Dumond represented women's golf on the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Ireland had a 3.95 GOA in finance, while Louis-Dumond had a 3.69 GPA in business administration. Nordström a 4.0 GPA in finance.

2024-25 Hannah Nall was named the GSC Golfer of the Year. Also, for the first time in program history, Lehane Louis-Dumond walked away with GSC Freshman of the Year honors. The Lady Flames had four of the six golfers on the First-Team All-GSC as well. Nall, Louis Dumond, Banthita "Pearl" Phoncharatkun, and Haley Blevins were each named to the First Team. For Nall it is the third time she has been named to the First Team. She is the 12th golfer in conference history that has achieved that honor and only the fifth of that group to be on the first team three times. Nall and Phoncharatkun were named Honorable Mention All-Americans. It is the first time for either golfer to earn a national award.

The Lady Flames were more than athletes they stared in the classroom as well, placing five on the 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. 
The Lady Flames named were senior Hope Harrell, sophomore Olivia Ireland, freshmen Lehane Louis-Dumond and Emilia Nordström, and senior Banthita "Pearl" Phoncharatkun graduated with a 3.598 GPA in business management, senior Hope Harrell 3.815 GPA in exercise science, sophomore Olivia Ireland a 3.973 GPA in finance, and freshmen Lehane Louis-Dumond and Emilia Nordström 3.727 GPA in Business Administration while Nordström had a 4.0 GPA in finance.
The Lady Flames opened the 2024 fall season at the Savannah Lakes Invitational and took the team title while Banthita "Pearl" Phoncharatkun claimed the individual title in a playoff. It was the lowest-ever score for Phonchataratkun, a 4-under 212 (69-74-69). Lee set a school record at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial Invitational hosted by the University of North Georgia an 871 (286-304-284).

The 2023-24 campaign was also highlighted by the return to the National Tournament after the 2022-23 club failed to qualify. The Lady Flames were runner up in six of 11 invitationals events before placing fourth against talented opponents in the DII South/Southeast Regional.
 
Over those past two years the Lee coach, who the GSC named as Co-Coach of the Year, helped direct the outstanding play of Supuschaya "Yui" Srichantamit. For the second consecutive year “Yui” was named First-Team All-American by Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). Earlier she was selected First-Team All-South Region for a second time by the WGCA. “Yui” walked away with the Gulf South Conference Golfer of the Year honors again and claimed medalist honors in the GSC Tournament.
 
In her first season as head coach, Almeida led Lee to the Gulf South Conference Tournament Championship and was named the GSC Coach of the Year. All-American Srichantamit was joined on the All-GSC team by Hannah Nall, Carson McKie, and Emily Felix.

Almeida graduated from Bethel University (Mishawaka, Indiana) with a major in Business Administration and minor in Economics. She completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in May of 2020, also from Bethel.
 
Before coming to Lee University, she was the No. 1-ranked amateur in Brazil (2009). At Lee she was a NAIA All-American (2011-2012), Southern States Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year (2011), and Southern States Athletic Conference All- Conference (2011, 2012).
 
At Bethel University (Mishawaka, Indiana) Almeida was a  NAIA All-American (2013-2014), NAIA Scholar Athlete (2013-2014), Crossroads League Female Athlete of the Year (2014), Crossroads League Women’s Golf Player of the Year (2013-2014), Crossroads League All-Conference (2013-2014), and a member of the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team (2014).

She had head coaching experience and success at Bethel before returning to Lee as an assistant. Almeida coached the Pilots to the North Central Region Championship (2019, 2020), was named NCCAA North Central Region Coach of the Year (2019, 2020) and her 2020 team finished runner-up in the NCCAA National Championship. She coached a NAIA All-American (2021) and four NCCAA All-American (2019, 2020). She had a number of players earn NAIA, NCCAA Scholar Athlete honors.
