Jessica McIntyre begins her 10th year at Lee University and fifth year in the role of Deputy  Athletic Director (Senior Woman Administrator). 

McIntyre has served in a variety of roles for Lee Athletics, including a pivotal role in navigating Lee through the NCAA Division II Membership Process from 2014-15. McIntyre has also helped to establish a positive environment for student athlete growth beyond the playing field with wellness initiatives such as the LEEdership program.

McIntyre helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the athletic department including sport oversight, title IX, NCAA opportunities, and strategic. 
In addition to her administrative duties, McIntyre also serves as the assistant softball coach. As a collegiate athlete, McIntyre was a National Championship winning first baseman for the University of Mobile.

McIntyre received her master's degree in Sport Administration from Belmont University in 2012. While completing her degree she served as a Compliance Intern where she composed waivers as necessary, researched and provided rules interpretations to coaches and athletic staff and maintained and regulated practice hours for each sport.

After graduation McIntyre worked for a year at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Office in Indianapolis, Ind. as an Academic and Membership Affairs Intern. Among other responsibilities she helped analyze and process Student-Athlete Reinstatement requests including Amateurism Certification Process cases, Hardship waivers, Season of Competition waivers, and Clock Extension requests from Division I, II and III institutions.
