Tena Walker is a valuable part of the the athletic department's everyday operation. She began working at Lee in March of 1999 as Office Coordinator for Athletics.
She is responsible for the filing and maintaining athletic insurance claims for our athletes and staff. Tena is also a supervisor of student workers and is responsible for maintaining their records. She coordinates the use of Walker Arena, Dale Goff Room and the McKenzie Class Room.
Tena handles all budget and requisition entry along with maintaining all requisition files. She is responsible for typing eligibility forms and athletic scholarships, while answering the busy athletic phone and routing calls, plus ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
Before coming to Lee, Tena worked at Child Support Services for more than 18 years. She is married to Tarry Walker. They have two children, Brittany and Alexandria and one grandson, Nasir.
