Lee men's soccer captain Gabe Franco has been named the Lee University Male Athlete of the Week.

Franco headed in the lone goal during Friday's 1-0 victory over Delta State. The junior defender headed in the score in the 32nd minute off a corner kick from David Perez.

Franco is a Health Science major from Mooresville, N.C. He and the Flames will travel to Memphis to battle Christian Brothers on Friday. The Bucs are currenlty in second-place in the GSC. On Sunday Lee will head to Jackson to play Union. The Bulldogs are still searching for their first conference victory.
