Cayce Bryan was honored as the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week. The sophomore from Las Vegas, Nev. competed in the Rome-Shorter Relays in Rome, Ga. this past weekend.

Bryan won the women’s 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:15, which was good enough to qualify her for the NAIA Outdoor Track National Championship in Marion, Ind. (May 22-24). The time was the third fastest in the NAIA this season.

Bryan and the Lady Flames will run next at the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tenn. on April 11-13. The event is hosted by the University of Tennessee.
