Lee University's Florian Loutre has been named Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Men's Golfer of the Week.

The freshman from Le Mans, France was instrumental in leading the Flames to the SSAC Tournament Championship last weekend at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Ala.  Loutre fired rounds of 70, 67,70 to claim medalist honors with a 7-under par in the 54-hole tournament.

Loutre and the Flames will now set their sights on the NAIA National Tournament at Creekside Golf Club  in Salem, Ore. The 72-hole tournament is set to begin on May 14.
