Sophomore Tom Halsall has been named Lee University's Male Athlete of the Week after guiding the Flames to a 1-0-1 week in the Gulf South Conference (GSC).

The goalkeeper led Lee to a hard fought road tie against Shorter University last Friday evening. Halsall registered five saves in keeping the clean slate. The Southport, England native went on to record four saves to help guide the Flames past Alabama-Huntsville, 4-2 on Tuesday evening at the Lee Soccer Field.

Halsall and the Flames will now head to Pensacola, Fla. to battle No. 21 West Florida in GSC action on Friday evening. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
