ROME, Ga. – Shorter University took seven straight matches from the Lee men’s tennis team before Patrick Kim, playing No. 5 singles, scored a 7-6, 6-4 victory over Colt Kelley on Wednesday afternoon.
The 8-1 loss drops the Flames 1-4 on the year and Shorter, now playing in the Gulf South (NCAA Division II Conference), improved to 6-6.
The Flames are scheduled to host Martin Methodist College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
