Hollie (and I know everyone will agree) is the best to ever play her sport at our university. I know as coaches that we all feel like our kid is better than somebody else's but with me and my coaching staff, we've just known for the last two years that when we stepped onto the floor we had the best player on the court."
"I am extremely honored and humbled to be receiving this award along with my two other fellow athletes," said German. "This award means so much to me because it measures so much more than just pure athletic ability alone. This award also embodies the traits and characteristics that I wanted to finish my career here at Lee University having. However, as I told our entire team at our banquet, what I will remember most about Courtney and the legacy she has left behind, is her ability to compete while putting others first. She is without question one of the finest young people I have had the privilege of being around.
