Â
"Although a loss is always a tough way to end a season, we can't help but be incredibly proud of our girls this year," said head coach Addie Wadley. "I am so pleased with how far this team has come and am so excited for the future of the program. One highlight from the night was seeing our seniors book end the scoring with Schapira scoring the first goal of the game and Rotello taking the last one. We are proud to have made our first GSC tournament appearance and look forward to many more."
The Chargers advance to the GSC Championship on Sunday against Young Harris College. The host Mountain Lions topped Montevallo earlier in the day, 25-6.
