BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the third time this season, Lee University's Chloe Flora was named the Gulf South Conference Women's Track Performer of the Week. She had also earned the honor on March 20 and April 3.
Flora won the 800-meter and the 1500-meter runs last weekend at the GSC/Peach Belt conference crossover to help the Lady Flames finish second. She currently sits first in the league in the 1500 and fourth in the 800.
The Lady Flames are off this weekend and return to action the weekend of April 18-20. The squad will be split with the majority heading to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech Invitational and a handful traveling to Torrance, Calif., for the Mt. SAC Relays.
