BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the second straight week sophomore Yui Srinchantamit has been named the Gulf South Conference Female Golfer of the Week after leading the Lady Flames to the team championship at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial hosted by the University of North Georgia.

Her rounds of 71, 69 and 77 gave her a 54-hole score of 217, which was good enough for a third-place finish. It was a bit of redemption for the sophomore from Thailand after last week's Lady Flames Region Preview. Yui held the lead after round one but settled for a sixth-place finish after a difficult stretch on the back nine in the final round. A steady final round 77 on Tuesday this week helped propel the Lady Flames to a five-shot victory over the North Georgia Nighthawks.

"Yui has had a great start to the season. You can see her confidence level rising, and it's a result of the hard work she's been putting in," said Lee Director of Golf, John Maupin. "This last week she played very well for our team, and was a big reason we were able to walk away with the Championship."

Yui and the Lady Flames will wrap up the fall season on Nov. 1-2 at the Full Moon BBQ Invitational hosted by the University of Montevallo.
