Jadepreeya Jademongkolrat (Aiko) will make the long journey over from Thailand to join the Lee women's golf program this fall.
Â
Aiko will team with senior leader Anniko Gino, fellow countrywoman, Supuschaya Srichantamit along with All-American Emily Felix, Carson McKie and Clara Hulsey. The Lady Flames were ranked No. 11 in the nation and on eyeing the program's third-straight GSC Championship when the season was cancelled in March.
Â
Aiko is joining the Lady Flames from Thailand. She was also considering Wofford College and Morehead State University before making the decision to attend Lee University.
Â
When asked why she chose Lee Aiko said, "The reason I choose Lee University is that the atmosphere is unlikely any other school I spoke with. Lee university has such a friendly, welcoming and family-like atmosphere." Aiko is looking forward to starting a new chapter at Lee and meeting new people. She also has her sights set on getting a great education and being a big part of the Lady Flames.

Coach Maupin's Thoughts:
"Jadepreeya is an excellent pick up to our team. She will fit in very well with our other players, and the University as a whole. She has a lot of quality tournament experience in Thailand, and one thing that stands out to us, is the distances that she has competed at. They will have her well prepared to make an immediate impact on our roster. I think Jadepreeya will be a standout student-athlete for Lee University and the Lady Flames golf program. We are happy to welcome her aboard."
