HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Lee University volleyball team dropped its third consecutive contest with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-13) loss to Alabama Huntsville Saturday afternoon. The Lady Flames dropped to 2-2 in the Gulf South Conference and are now 4-8 overall. The Chargers improved to 10-4, including a 4-0 mark in conference play.
Allie Whittinghill led Lee with nine kills. Emma Flowers added six kills and Abigail Luke had five more. Reagan Bratton tallied 14 of the team's 28 assists. Calina Croy had the team's next-highest assist total with eight.
Mackenzie Pearson and Lyssi Snouffer registered double-digit digs. Pearson had 19, while Snouffer dug up 10 UAH attacks.
UAH was led by Molly Presnell's 17 kills and 11 digs. Kendall Scharbert added 13 kills. Sabrina Duncan dished out 34 assists and served up three aces. Shayla Libby recorded a match-high 22 digs. Gracie McGee was close behind with 19 digs.
The Lady Flames close out their string of five-straight road contests next weekend. Lee plays at Valdosta State on Friday and at West Georgia Saturday afternoon.
