RESULTS
ATLANTA – The Lee University women's track & field team recorded two Lee records this weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational. The two-day event was held at George C. Griffin Track.
Hannah Wright finished 11
th in the 100-Meter Hurdles with a Lee record 14.49 seconds. Sydney White was 36
th (17.74) and Madlyn Mayo was 39
th (18.70). Wright and Mayo also competed in the 400-Meter Hurdles where Wright finished sixth (1:02.54) and Mayo was 28
th (1:13.67).
Carissa Hall collected Lee's second record-breaking performance of the weekend with a fifth-place measurement of 5.70 meters. Hall also placed 16
th in the Triple Jump with a landing of 11.62 meters.
Kristen Blevins placed 10
th (11.81) in the 100-Meter Dash and was fifth (24.19) in the 200-Meter Dash. Hall, Wright and Janay Ryan joined Blevins in the 200. Hall finished 14
th (24.71), Wright was 22
nd (25.26) and Ryan was 27
th (25.44). Ryan added a 21
st-place finish in the 400-Meter Dash with a time of 57.80 seconds.
The 4x100-Meter Relay team of Wright, Hall, Blevins and Ryan combined for a fifth-place time of 46.49 seconds.
Five Lady Flames competed in the 800-Meter Run. Celine Ritter was Lee's top finisher at 2:09.10 (sixth). Aria Hawkins crossed the line in 14
th (2:12.65) and Toni Moore placed 26
th (2:14.57). Liza Kellerman stopped the clock at 2:15.27 for 29
th and Lily Hare's time of 2:16.79 put her in 33
rd.
The same five Lady Flames completed the 1500-Meter Run. Ritter claimed sixth place with a time of 4:19.47. Hawkins finished 18
th (4:33.66) with Moore (4:34.28) right behind in 19
th. Kellerman was 25
th (4:36.76) and Hare 37
th (4:41.48).
Elizabeth Beckham posted a fourth-place finish in the 3000-Meter Steeplechase with a time of 11:32.46. Danielle Horter and Olivia McLain were the first two of seven Lee runners to cross the finish line of the 5000-Meter Run. Horter placed eighth (17:10.59) with McLain in 12
th (17:28.49). Grace Adams completed the race at 18:22.41 (29
th), Ashlyn Iliff was 37
th (18:39.57), Katie Krueger finished 39
th (18:46.80), Elizabeth Heckman finished 43
rd (18:57.43) and Kaitlyn Sesler posted a time of 19:30.21 (51
st).
Deborah Rubin placed 16
th with a 12.88-meter throw in the Shot Put. Rubin was 15
th in the Discus with a mark of 39.62 meters. She also launched the hammer 45.34 meters to finish 11
th in the Hammer Throw. Austyn Durham was 34
th in the Discus and 24
th in the Hammer Throw with measurements of 26.69 and 37.57 meters, respectively.
Durham joined Brooke Long and White in the Javelin Throw. Durham recorded a throw of 35/78 meters (11
th), while Long's throw of 33.05 meters was good for 15
th. White's mark of 26.78 meters put her in 21
st position.
The Lady Flames are scheduled to return to action the weekend of May 5-7 at the Gulf South Conference Championship which will be hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi.
