RESULTS
The Lee University women's track & field team competed in the Lee University Last Chance Meet Saturday at Ray Conn Sports Complex. In the last weekend that results are allowed to be used for qualifying for the upcoming NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the Lady Flames qualified for or improved their standing in three separate events.
Toni Moore placed third in the 3000-Meter Steeplechase after crossing the finish line at 10:30.93. The time met the standard of 11:00.95 and put her at No. 8 before Sunday's results were reported.
Carissa Hall added another provisional performance in the Triple Jump. Hall covered 12.28 meters to finish second and post the 26
th-best mark of the outdoor season. The provisional-qualifying mark was set at 11.94 meters this season.
Celine Ritter met the provisional time of 2:12.24 in the 800-Meter Run. She placed fourth in the meet with a time of 2:08.93. Aria Hawkins was eighth (2:12.52) with Liza Kellerman in ninth (2:13.22). Lily Hare crossed the finish at 2:15.21 (16
th).
Ritter added a second-place finish (4:19.55) in the 1500-Meter Run. Kaitlyn Sesler completed the race at 5:04.91 for 28
th. Janay Ryan was 17
th (25.21) in the 200-Meter Dash.
The 4x100-Meter Relay team of Hannah Wright, Kristen Blevins, Hall and Ryan finished second with a combined time of 46.36.
Ashlyn Iliff, Elizabeth Beckham and Katie Krueger competed in the 5000-Meter Run. Iliff (18:08.83) placed 19
th, Beckham was 21
st (18:17.10) and Krueger finished 23
rd (18:24.61).
Olivia McLain stopped the clock in the 10000-Meter Run at 36:27.39 for fourth place. Danielle Horter finished in sixth at 36:38.64.
Austyn Durham was eighth in the Discus Throw with a mark of 31.61 meters and placed ninth with a measurement of 31.35 meters in the Javelin Throw. Deborah Rubin was fourth in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 48.69 meters.
The 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held May 26-28 at Grand Valley State Track and Field Stadium in Allendale, Michigan, and will be hosted by Grand Valley State University and the West Michigan Sports Commission. The Championships fields will be announced on Tuesday, May 17.
