BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-After a career performance last Saturday, Beyuan Hendricks was named Gulf South Conference player of the week as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.

Hendricks had a career high in two categories in the win over Valdosta State University. He scored 33 points and had nine assists which were both career highs. He was 13-for-18 from the field shooting including 5-for-9 from the three point arc. He was 2-for-2 from the free throw line, while also adding one rebound and one steal.
