The men's soccer team upset the University of West Alabama in the quarterfinal round of the GSC tournament. They played 110 minutes of scoreless action before winning the game in penalty kicks. The Flames will be back in the GSC semifinals for the first time since 2021 and they will take on the #3 seed UWF on Friday, November 10 at 7 PM EST.

The Lady Flames shutout UWG in their quarterfinal matchup of the GSC tournament. Jordan Blair scored in the first minute of the game and then Amelya Jacobs scored the insurance goal in the second half to lead Lee to a 2-0 win. They will play MC in the semifinal round of the GSC Tournament on Thursday, November 9 at 7 PM EST.

The Lady Flames went 1-2 this week. They lost in five sets to UAH on the road before falling to VSU in three sets at home for volley for a cure. They then rebounded and beat UWG in four sets to secure a birth in the GSC tournament. It is the first time since 2018 that the Lady Flames will be a participant in the the tournament. Kamryn Halpin had 59 digs this week to get to a 1000 in her career.

The Flames competed in the final invitational of the fall at the GSC Invite with Peng You winning the individuals and Jordi Dasi and Wihan Van Der Merwe taking the doubles title. The Flames will start their season on Feb. 4 at King University.

The Lee University men's cross country team placed three runners among the top ten runners on their way to claiming its third consecutive NCAA Division II South Region Championship. The Flames have now won five region titles overall. The Flames recorded 45 points and finished 41 points ahead of runner-up Florida Southern (86).Matthew Fowler was Lee's top finisher with a fourth-place time of 30:04.60. The Flames will next run at the DII National Championships in Joplin, Missouri on November 18.

The Lee University women's cross country team placed four runners among the top six runners to claim its fourth consecutive NCAA Division II South Region Championship. The Lady Flames recorded 28 points and finished 37 points ahead of runner-up University of Tampa (65). Aria Hawkins was the top individual performer. She crossed the finish line of the 6K race at 20:34.69.  The Lady Flames will next run at the DII National Championships in Joplin, Missouri on November 18.

The Lady Flames defeated Maryville College in their homecoming exhibition. They were picked to finish 2nd in the GSC preseason poll and Mallory Hampton was named to the GSC Preseason team. This week they open the season in the GSC/SSC crossover against Tampa and Florida Southern in Huntsville, Ala.
