Lee 14th In Division II LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Lee University Athletics is 14th in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings for Division II after the fall semester. Three sports for Lee earned points in the fall semester giving the Flames 180.5 points. The Lady Flames Cross Country team came in ninth at the cross country national championships and earned 69 points. The Flames cross country team was 14th at the national championships and earned 61.5 points. The Lady Flames soccer team was 17th at the NCAA tournament and earned 50 points.

Grand Valley State (365.00 total points), sits in first in Division II. Colorado School of Mines is in second place with 315.00 points, Wingate is in third with 295.50 points,Charleston (WV) is in fourth place with 269.00 points and West Texas A&M rounds out the top-five with 243.50 points.

Lee is the highest Gulf South Conference team in the rankings. The University of West of West Florida is in 29th with 139 points while Mississippi College is 47th with 104 points. Valdosta State University is 75th with 70 points,  Delta State is 89th with 53 points, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville is 114th with 47 points.
