The Lee University men's track team recorded four new NCAA Division II Provisional Standards at the 2024 Boston University Thomas Terrier Classic.
The distance medley relay team of Ryan Lovelace, Niquaine Henry, Titus Lagat and Jacob Hatcher completed the weekend with a fourth-place finish time of 9:47.81 to beat the provisional mark of 10:03.10. F
Lagat completed the 800-meter run in 1:52.40 (25th) to eclipse the qualifying time of 1:52.46.
Aaron Himes and Matthew Fowler each finished ahead of the 5000-meter standard of 14:26.38. Himes placed 31st at 14:18.36 and Fowler was 35th with a time of 14:24.07.
Hatcher hit the provisional mark of 4:09.80 in the mile for the second consecutive week with a 52nd place time of 4:06.95.

Liza Kellerman, Letlhogonolo Magoro, Lily Hare and McKenna Cavanaugh were part of the only women's track event on Friday night. The foursome posted a third-place time of 11:42.11 and were 22 seconds under the provisional time of 12:04.59.
Hare added another qualifying performance on Saturday in the mile run. She stopped the clock at 4:54.43 (55th) to finish ahead of the 4:56.85 standard.
Cavanaugh also secured a second qualifying time with an 11th-place finish in the 3000-meter run. Her time of 9:26. 93 was the top time recorded by a non-NCAA DI or Club runner in the event. Zoe Brickley finished 38th with a time of 9:52.48 to join Cavanaugh in beating the provisional mark of 9:55.19.
Danielle Horter was the sixth Lady Flame to hit a provisional mark. Horter finished 31st in the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:09.64. The time to beat was 17:17.41.
