BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After helping lead the Lee University women's soccer team to two wins this week, Junior goalkeeper Abby Whitcomb was named Gulf South Conference goalkepper of the week as annoiunced by the league on Tuesday.

Whitcomb had eight saves this week in goal. She helped shutout Delta State University and then just gave up one goal in the win over Mississippi College.

The Lady Flames will head on the road to West Tennessee this weekend to take on Union University on Friday.
