CLEVELAND, Tenn. –A lone goal in the 70th minute was all Lander University needed to defeat the homestanding Lee University men's soccer team on Saturday evening. The Flames, missing five starters to injury fell to 4-5-2 overall and Lander improved to 3-1-6. It was the final non-conference game for Lee.

Coach Derek Potteiger's Thoughts:
"We knew what this game was going to be about. Lander is a good team. They are healthy we aren't. We knew what we were up against, and I am proud of the way the guys fought and battled and stuck in there."
