Coach Bubba Smith's Thoughts:
"It was a must win today to keep our tournament hopes alive and the guys came out and had a great start to the game and second half. I thought our defensive focus was great and holding the leagues leading scorer to 1-10 from the field was big. Tariq was fantastic, as well as the guys behind him with their help. We needed multiple guys to play well and I thought we had key contributions from every guy that played today. Our bench was really good as well and Willie stepped up and made some big shots for us down the stretch. It was also good to see our team lead from start to finish."
