BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After a strong showing at the Lee University Invitational, Camden Williams has been named Gulf South Conference Field Athlete of the week.

Williams threw in three different event this week and hit one school record. In the hammer throw he set a school record of 49.67 meters. In the discus he threw it 47.61 meters. Then in the shotput he threw a distance of 15.43 meters. He is ranked first or second in all three in the GSC after one meet.
