Scalzo had three runs and two hits in the contest. No one else had more than one hit. Pruitt-Geesey threw six innings giving up four hits and one run that was earned. She walked one and struck out one in her tenth win.

The Lady Flames will go to King University on Wednesday for a couple of non-conference matchups.

Coach Emily Russell's Thoughts:
"I think we were a little flat this weekend offensively. Union is a good team. They have a lot of depth in the circle and we weren't able to make adjustments quick enough in game 2. We ran the bases well and kept pressure on their offense. We had 2 great games from Natalie this weekend. We had 3 people throw in game 2 but couldn't get runs when we needed them.  We get a few days off and I hope that leads us to being able to come back renewed for another big series this weekend."
