Lady Flames Reach Three New Provisional Times At Lee Last Chance

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lee University women's track & field team reached three new NCAA Division II Provisional marks Saturday afternoon at the Lee University Last Chance at Ray Conn Sports Complex. The single day meet was held on the next-to-last day an athlete could record a qualifying mark.

The Lady Flames met provisional marks in the 5000-meter run, 1500-meter run and 4x400-meter relay. Ana Patricia Campos placed first in the 5000 and beat the provisional standard of 16:59.79 with a time of 16:38.40. The time puts her 28th among DII athletes this season. Katie Krueger knocked over 34 off her season-best time with a sixth-place finish of 17:33.61 in the 5000.

Estella Clemons surpassed the time to beat in the 1500 by just over five seconds with a first-place finish of 4:24.92. Her time is No. 29 on the DII performance list. Lily Hare placed fouth (4:32.47) and Katie Beam was sixth (4:35.87).

The 4x400-meter relay team of Sydney White, Liz Lannom, Jydia Faucette and Maddox Mayfield placed second with a combined time of 3:46.45 to beat the standard of 3:48.34 and post the 53rd-best time this season.

Lannom just missed hitting the provisional time of 14.18 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles. She placed first with a time of 14.24 seconds. Mayfield finished sixth in the the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.00 seconds.

Brynn Depinet placed first in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.71 meters. Faucette covered 11.16 meters to finish second in the triple jump and finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.38 meters.

The 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Track & Field Championships field is scheduled to be posted online by 5 p.m on Tuesday, May 13. The national committee will select the top 22 in individual events, top 16 in combined events and top 16 relays from the declared athletes meeting a provisional standard.
