Zielinski Named PING Honorable Mention All-American

NORMAN, Okla. – The Second, Third, and Honorable Mention 2025 Division II PING All-America Teams have been announced by the GCAA. Drew Zielinski earned honorable mention accolades for Lee University.

The junior from Ocean Springs, Miss., was a PING All-South region member and was on the First Team All-GSC. Zielinski completed 36 rounds with a 71.4 stroke average. He finished in a four-way tie for second placeat the national championship after he fired a 3-under par 69 in the final round to go along with his opening round of 72 and his 2-under 70 second round for a tally of 211.

At the GSC Championship he finished 17th. He was champion of the 2024 Milton Makeup at 11-under par. He took fifth place at the 2025 Saint Leo Invitational at 4-under par. At the 2025 Las Vegas Desert Classic at 10-under par he came in third. He tied school record for individual lowest tournament total at the 2024 Milton Makeup and is currently ranked #42 on Clippd National Rankings.

Off the course he was a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District member and on the GSC Honor Roll.

Coach Evan Spence is proud of what Zielinski accomplished this year and ready to see what next year holds. "Very proud of Drew and the season he has this year! There were a few events this year where he really flashed what he's capable of and he is deserving of this honor. I know that this is going to be highly motivating for him as well as he wants to push to make First Team next season which is certainly in the cards for him. He's an extremely hard worker, knows his game well, and I'm excited to see what he's going to accomplish over the next year!"

Seth Bearden of Midwestern State, Xavier Bighaus of Colorado Christian, Sungyeop Cho of Colorado Christian, Adam Duncan of Colorado Christian, Felipe Gomez of Georgia Southwestern, Leandro Mihaich of Oklahoma Christian, Oskari Nikku of Oklahoma Christian, Sangha Park of Colorado Christian, Hunter Smith of North Georgia, Colton Swartz of Florida Southern, and Cooper Tendick of West Florida were previously named to the First Team.

Cole Beyer of Colorado Mesa, Nick Canales of Central Oklahoma, Drew Coble of Grand Valley State, Per Ekelund of West Florida, Max Reynolds of Lincoln Memorial, Brandon Skidmore of Wingate, TJ Thompson of West Florida, and Jordan Wilson of Central Oklahoma comprised the Second Team.

Third Team honorees included Bennett Baldwin of Central Oklahoma, Max Barile of Florida Southern, Ethan Day of North Georgia, George Durkan of Lincoln Memorial, John Kim of Cal State San Bernardino, Erik Olin of USC Aiken, Baptiste Touchard of St. Mary's (TX), and Jack Vajda of North Georgia.

A total of 27 golfers were named honorable mention All-America.
