Coach Even Spence's Thoughts:
"Always exciting to get a new season started. I was mostly pleased with the way we played tee to green this week but we struggled a lot on the greens the past couple of days. There was quite a bit more grain this week than what we are used to and we didn't do a great job managing that this week. Considering the fact that we still contended in the event and at one point in the final round today had the deficit cut to only 5 shots behind the lead with as poorly as we scored the ball, I am encouraged with where we are at but nonetheless, always a bit of a disappointment whenever we're not coming home with a trophy. Looking forward to another great opportunity next week at an awesome venue in Old Waverly down in Mississippi."
